Personalized Health Services for Body, Mind & Heart

At PEACE.clinic, each service is delivered with a trauma-informed perspective, grounded in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern biomedical research. Our focus is not only symptom relief but also addressing the deeper imbalances that underlie chronic pain, stress, and trauma-related conditions.

Our services

Acupuncture

Acupuncture harmonizes body systems and activates natural healing mechanisms. It is both preventive and restorative, helping with pain management, stress, sleep disturbances, hormonal imbalance, digestive issues, and oncology support.

From a biomedical lens, acupuncture helps regulate the autonomic nervous system by reducing sympathetic overdrive (fight/flight) and enhancing vagal tone (rest/digest). Research in PTSD populations shows improvements in sleep, anxiety, and resilience without requiring patients to relive traumatic memories.

Chinese Herbal Medicine & Nutrition

Chinese herbal medicine views the body holistically—addressing both branch (symptom) and root (underlying cause). We design individualized herbal and nutraceutical plans that restore systemic balance and reduce symptoms along the way.

Therapeutic dosing of herbs can reduce inflammation, regulate immune function, support hormonal balance and impact many systems. Modern studies suggest phytotherapy enhances the body’s ability to recover when chronic stress or trauma has weakened resilience.

Cupping Therapy

We offer fire cupping, running cupping, stationary cupping, and Hijama (bleeding cupping) to release fascial restrictions, reduce muscle hypertonicity, and improve circulation.

Heavy Metal Detox

Low-dose oral chelation combined with targeted nutraceuticals, can support the safe excretion of heavy metals that accumulate in the cells of the brain, endocrine glands, organs, and bones. This is an educational service where I guide individuals in sourcing appropriate products and help navigate any issues that come up. The focus is addressing the root causes of many neurological conditions. One of my colleagues no longer experiences symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) after completing a multi-year low dose oral chelation protocol. I have also read countless testimonials from parents who discovered that their children were not developmentally impaired, but instead were suffering from undiagnosed heavy metal toxicity. These stories fuel my passion, and I look forward to helping others find the same hope and healing.

Massage Therapy

Massage modalities include Tuina, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, and Intra-Oral Massage. These approaches not only release physical tension but also downregulate the nervous system, which is essential in trauma recovery where hypervigilance and sympathetic dominance are common.

Auricular Acupuncture for PTSD

Auricular acupuncture (focused on the ear) is a cornerstone of our trauma-informed practice. In group or individual sessions, fine needles are placed at specific ear points to calm the nervous system, reduce hyperarousal, and promote deep rest. Research shows that this method reduces pro-inflammatory mediators, regulates stress hormones, and engages the ventral vagus nerve, helping patients return to a state of safety and connection. In both refugee settings and local clinics, patients frequently describe falling into a restful state, akin to daydreaming or sleep, without needing to discuss their trauma.
